I have heard three albums that have been/will be released in 2011. There's G-Side's amazing The One...Cohesive, James Blake's hype-fullfilling self titled debut, and Destroyer's Kaputt. It's an ambient-space-jazz-funk dream of an album, my favorite of the three. It takes a whole bunch of sounds previously thought to be too cheesy for "proper" art rock (sax solos, flutes, jazz-funk fusion) and integrates them flawlessly into Destroyer's palette.
