It's crazy how Charles Sumner was a BIG DEAL and now all anyone (i.e. me and now you, too) knows about him is that he got caned on the Senate floor and it had something to with slavery. I hope that in 10 years we don't look back at Lane and think of him as the guy on Mad Men who got caned. Let's remember him as the guy on Mad Men who dated a Playboy Bunny who used to be in 3LW.

When I watch Mad Men, a lot of the time I just admire their clothes. They just dress so nicely. Well, in preparation for its anticipated third season, the Mad Men website now has a feature so you can transform yourself into a character from the show. It's a really fun little thing and it is pretty cool to make yourself over in the fashions of the early '60s.
It's a lot cheaper than doing this in real life.
