gleams reissues

As part of the run up to Eternal Hiss, I have been kind of quietly reissuing old recordings at the gleams bandcamp for free download. This includes old CD-r and tape releases that were available at shows and limited to twenty-something copies as well as recordings that were only circulated among friends or posted as low quality mp3s on the internet. These recordings stretch from 2006-2010 (I spent 2011 on America In Chocolate and 2012 recording, but not releasing anything). This reissue series began with the Endless Teen revision posted last year and includes three albums, three eps, two mini albums, and a single.
I'm working on a two volume mixtape of unreleased or uncollected material. These tapes will include covers, outtakes, experiments, live tracks, and good songs to which I lost the master files. I will release these tapes around the time I release the final archival project--Uncollected: 2006-2012. This release will see a very limited (10 copies) tape release with the tape releases of Endless Teen and Young Neil, hopefully within the next couple of months (I have the undubbed tapes sitting in my bedroom). It will be released digitally sometime after Eternal Hiss.
Here is the track list for the compilation in chronological order to this final archival release.

HISS VOLUME FIVE

Well, here's volume five as well. This mixtape series is, I guess, to promote that the name of the new gleams record is Eternal Hiss. Things that were recorded on tape and that sound that way––just like the album.

"See You Tonight" by The Wizards
"One Hundred Years From Now" by the Gosdin Brothers
